Howard & Howard Welcomes Litigation Attorneys

Royal Oak, Michigan, February 2009:  Howard & Howard Attorneys PLLC is pleased to announce that Andrew J. Munro, Andrew M. Zack and Bradley W. Collick have joined the firm.  They will practice out of the firm’s Royal Oak Office.

Mr. Munro concentrates his practice in several areas of commercial litigation, including business and corporate disputes, employment, securities and tax matters.  He has extensive experience handling matters in state and federal courts, various arbitration forums, and before state and SRO regulatory forums.  He also specializes in commercial transactions.  Prior to entering the practice of law, Mr. Munro was a staff tax accountant with PriceWaterhouse & Co., and later the CEO of AudioCom, Inc. 

Mr. Munro majored in Accounting and received his B.A., with honors, from Michigan State University in 1976.  He received his J.D., cum laude, from Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University in 1979, where he was the recipient of two American Jurisprudence Awards and authored "The Apportionment of Real Property Taxes in Michigan: The Methods Used and their Federal Income Tax Impact," Volume 1978, Issue 4, Detroit College of Law Review.

Mr. Munro is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan; U.S. Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit; U.S. Tax Court and the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Illinois.  He is a member of the Oakland County and American Bar Associations.

Mr. Zack has specialized in commercial litigation since 1980.  He entered private practice in Michigan after working for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission in Washington, D.C. during the late 1970’s, where he served in the Office of Enforcement and the Solicitor's Office.

Mr. Zack has extensive experience handling matters in state and federal courts including contract disputes, fraud and breach of fiduciary duty cases, corporate shareholder and partnership litigation, insurance coverage disputes, construction cases, real estate litigation, employment cases and securities litigation. He has widespread experience in trial and appellate work and also serves as a case evaluator for the Oakland County Circuit Court.  

Mr. Zack received his B.A., with high distinction, from the University of Michigan in 1973, while also studying abroad at the London School of Economics.  He earned his M.A. from Boston University in 1974 and his J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School in 1976.

 Mr. Zack is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and is a member of the Oakland County (Chairman, Circuit Court Mediation Committee, 1999-2000) and American Bar Associations.

Mr. Collick concentrates his practice in several areas of litigation including construction law, contract and business disputes, and landlord-tenant litigation.  He has appeared on behalf of clients in various federal and state courts (both trial and appellate courts), as well as in alternative dispute resolution forums, including arbitration, facilitation and mediation.  Mr. Collick received his B.A. from Michigan State University, James Madison College in 1992 and his J.D., cum laude, from Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University in 1999.

Mr. Collick is admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan.  He is a member of the Oakland County Bar Association and the Real Property Law Section of the State Bar of Michigan.
