Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, July 2008: Howard & Howard Attorneys, P.C. is pleased to announce that James A. Kohl has been appointed an arbitrator for Nevada’s Court Annexed Arbitration Program. This program segregates certain cases and mandates that they go to arbitration rather than trial. Mr. Kohl practices out of the firm’s Las Vegas Office.
Mr. Kohl concentrates his practice in businesses & corporate law,, litigation, real estate, financial services and gaming. He has extensive experience in all phases of litigation and his litigation career is highlighted by winning a $60,000,000 judgment. Mr. Kohl also represents and advises business owners in the creation, acquisition, and disposition of entities and real estate. In addition to being a licensed attorney, Mr. Kohl holds a Nevada Real Estate Salesman's License.
Mr. Kohl received a B.A. from Guilford College in 1988 and a J.D. from the Villanova University School of Law in 1995. He is a member of the State Bar of Nevada and a panelist on the State Bar of Nevada Fee Dispute Committee. Mr. Kohl is licensed to appear in all courts within the State of Nevada, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Tax Court. He is also a longtime member of the Las Vegas Rotary Club having served as its 25 Club President, and as the Chairman of the Club’s Rotary Youth Leadership Award committee for 5 years.
