Mark A. Davis

Mr. Davis is President and Chief Executive Officer of Howard & Howard. He concentrates his practice in business, real estate, securities and tax law. Mr. Davis has extensive experience handling the acquisition, development, leasing and disposition of automobile sales and service facilities across the United States. He also has substantial experience handling: (i) acquisition, leasing and disposition of industrial and commercial property, (ii) acquisition and disposition of business operations in various industries, including manufacturers, distributors, retailers and service providers, and (iii) registration statements under the Securities Act and reporting requirements under the Exchange Act. Mr. Davis was associated with E.F. Hutton and subsequently with the Michigan Corporation and Securities Bureau, Enforcement Division, from 1987 to 1991.
Mr. Davis received a B.A. in Accounting from Michigan State University in 1984, a J.D. from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1987 and an LL.M. in Taxation from Wayne State University Law School in 1991. Mr. Davis authored "When is a Note a Security?" Thomas M. Cooley Law Journal, Fall 1990. He is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and its sections on Business and Real Estate Law.
